The 16th edition of the International Workshop on Lot Sizing will be held in Ankara, Turkey, from August 26 to 28, 2026. The workshop is organised by the Middle East Technical University.

As in the previous years, the goal of the workshop is to cover recent advances in lot sizing: new approaches for classical problems, new relevant problems, integration of lot sizing with other problems such as scheduling, distribution, or vehicle routing, presentation of case studies, etc. We especially welcome submissions that focus on sustainability or renewable energy. The workshop will also aim at favoring exchanges between researchers and enhancing fruitful collaboration.

This year, the workshop will be preceded by a PhD Summer School on Lot Sizing taking place from August 23 to 25, 2026. The summer school is intended to provide PhD students and early-career researchers (those who earned their PhD within the past three years) with an opportunity to deepen their understanding of lot sizing and to engage with the IWLS community.
